For holiday let owners in Spain
Know what you'll owe on your holiday let, before April.
Hacienda already gets your Airbnb earnings. Host Frontera keeps track of your costs, so the tax on your rental is never a surprise.
- Add bookings from your Airbnb and Booking.com exports
- Snap a receipt and it's filed under the right property
- See your Renta estimate build up as the year goes
One email when the beta opens. Nothing else.
Free while we test it. Beta members pay less for as long as they stay. See the prices.
An estimate to plan with, not a filed return. Check it with your gestor.
Three things, done properly
Bookings in, with little typing
Upload the Airbnb or Booking.com export, or add a stay by hand. The nights are counted for you.
Costs in, from a photo
Photograph a bill and the supplier, date, amount and IVA are read off it. You check it before it saves.
The tax, line by line
Rental income, deductions, imputed income for the empty nights, and the estimate, shown per property with the working.
Why I built Host Frontera
I let two properties, one in Málaga and one in England. Every spring meant weekends downloading Airbnb and Booking.com reports, searching my inbox for invoices and hunting for receipts, then handing the pile to a gestor who wanted it done fast. When I checked the working myself, things were missing. So I built the tool I wanted: bookings and bills go in as they happen, each receipt attached, and the tax worked out properly, line by line, all year. By April, the Renta is a summary to copy box by box, or one file for your gestor.
Before and after
During the year
Without it:Nothing, or a spreadsheet
With Host Frontera:Import bookings monthly, photograph receipts
In spring
Without it:Platform reports, the inbox, chasing receipts, emails with the gestor
With Host Frontera:Open the Renta summary, or send the pack
Time it takes
Without it:Several evenings
With Host Frontera:Minutes a month, about an hour at Renta time
Examples. We will replace them with what testers report.
The rules are the hard part
Running costs only count for the nights you let the property. Empty nights count as income. Repairs and mortgage interest are capped. Furniture is written down over ten years. A property abroad is declared in Spain too. Host Frontera does that arithmetic and shows you every line of it.
Version one is for owners who are tax resident in Spain, letting property in Spain or abroad.
