About Host Frontera
Made by a holiday-let owner in Andalucía.
Host Frontera keeps track of what your holiday let earns and spends, works out the tax line by line, and gives you the figures for the Renta. It started as one owner’s spreadsheet.
How it started
Host Frontera began with an owner letting two properties through Airbnb and Booking.com, one in Málaga and one abroad. Tax resident in Spain, so both went on the Renta.
Every spring went the same way: platform reports to download, an inbox to search for invoices, receipts to hunt for, then the pile handed to a gestor who wanted it done fast. When the working was checked, things were missing.
So the owner built a ledger: one page that kept every booking and bill as it happened and worked out the tax line by line, with the rules written down and their sources next to them. Host Frontera is that ledger, rebuilt so any owner can use it.

How we work
Four rules the product is built on.
- Every line shownThe tax is worked out from written rules, with their sources from the Agencia Tributaria and the BOE, Spain’s official gazette. You see each step, so you or your gestor can check it.
- AI reads receipts, never your taxAI reads the supplier, date and amount off a receipt, and you confirm them. The tax itself comes from fixed rules, worked out the same way every time.
- Your figures stay yoursHeld in the EU, with receipts in a private store. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising. Download it all, or have it deleted, whenever you like.
- An estimate, not a filingHost Frontera doesn’t file anything with Hacienda. You or your gestor file the Renta, with every figure ready to copy.
